Oma’s Obatzda (pronounced in Bavaria as Obatzer)
Recipe Description
Bavarian cheese spread traditionally served with soft pretzels
Servings: 6
Ingredients
wheel or large wedge of camembert or brie Cheese
1/2 stick butter
4-oz cream cheese
1/4 onion, small dice
salt to taste
paprika to taste
Instructions
Bring all ingredients except paprika to room temperature and place in large bowl. Using a sturdy fork, mash and mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Top with paprika and serve with warm pretzels.

I would use this recipe as a basic guideline and add more or less of the ingredients depending on your taste. I’ve made it with only butter and brie and had good results.
